Dr. Goodall’s landmark study of chimpanzee behaviour began in Tanzania in 1960 revolutionizing the world of primatology and redefining the relationship between humans and animals. In 1977, she established the Jane Goodall Institute to advance her vision and work across the globe for generations to come. Today, The Jane Goodall Institute is a global leader in the effort to protect endangered species, like chimpanzees, and their habitats through community-centred conservation programs and awareness-building initiatives. Dr. Goodall delivers lectures and presentations to audiences around the world highlighting the interconnectedness of all living things and the collective responsibility for creating change.
